L'ex presidente Usa Barack Obama ha incontrato gli studenti della Burke Elementary alla Chicago Public Library. Ha letto con loro alcune fiabe di Natale e parlando dell'Obama Presidential Center, il complesso culturale che aprirà il prossimo anno con museo, archivio, centro civico e una nuova filiale della biblioteca pubblica. Il progetto offrirà spazi e programmi educativi alla comunità del South Side, rafforzando il legame tra cultura e territorio. «Mi sono divertito a leggere libri con alcuni studenti della scuola elementare Burke alla Chicago Public Library oggi - ha scritto sui suoi canali social - quando l'Obama Presidential Center aprirà l'anno prossimo, avremo una nuova filiale della biblioteca che la comunità potrà godere».
