Malaysia has launched the long-awaited Electric Train Service (ETS) connecting Johor Bahru and Kuala Lumpur, which will begin operations on Friday (Dec 12).
Speaking at the project’s official launch at the Kempas Baru station in Johor Baru on Thursday, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said the project marks a major step forward in strengthening national transport connectivity, while Transport Minister Anthony Loke hailed it as a significant milestone in rail development.
