Die-hard fans in Kolkata have erected a 70-feet tall statue of football legend Lionel Messi ahead of his India tour. The statue, showing Messi holding the World Cup trophy, is part of a grand fanfare including life-size replicas of his Inter Miami home, his trophies, and football-themed installations. Kolkata will host Messi at Salt Lake Stadium, while he also tours Mumbai, Delhi, and Hyderabad.
