A torchlight parade filled Oslo’s streets as supporters honored Venezuelan Nobel Peace Prize laureate Maria Corina Machado. Demonstrators marched with torches, called for freedom in Venezuela, and held signs highlighting political prisoners and the struggle against the Maduro government. Machado’s daughter greeted the crowd from the Nobel Suite balcony as participants voiced hope for her eventual arrival in Norway.
