00:00The show is Souvenirs. I guess it's inspired by souvenirs and kind of ephemeral things,
00:08things that people maybe don't fully value at the time that might be, you know, thrown away or
00:13not very well preserved. And it's kind of about valuing that kind of artwork and the labour and
00:22the passion and the beauty of those kind of objects like tea towels, matchbooks,
00:26old trumpet posters that might have been at like a railway station. You know, it's about
00:32looking at the overlooked things. But they're very much, I feel like, in the Australian consciousness
00:41that like everyone has that memory of tea towels. I feel like it's a big part of our culture
00:45and a very like particularly Australian souvenir, I think. So it's definitely a big inspiration
00:51for me. It's kind of represents the kitcheness or something of Australia and the beauty of
00:57it and the flows and everything.
