00:00How did you choose to study science?

00:05So a little bit of an interesting story.

00:07I was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease at 23,

00:10transplanted at 26 and just got interested in science

00:14through like the whole medical side of it.

00:17And how do you feel about graduating?

00:19Amazing.

00:20Like just can't believe that I've actually got there

00:23and just cannot thank the uni for all the support

00:25that they've given me like throughout my journey.

00:28Yeah, can you tell me what's next for you after graduating?

00:31Yeah, so the plan is to move on to honours

00:34with the biomedical science at the uni

00:36and I'll be doing like transplant immunology research

00:40and the goal has always been to just get my name

00:42on one scientific paper to just give back

00:44for the incredible gift of life that I've received.
