The water always runs clear—until it doesn't. After moving into a weathered countryside home, a young woman discovers a stubborn, rust-colored stain in the vintage bathroom sink. No matter how hard she scrubs, it reappears overnight, darker each time, smelling faintly of damp earth and iron.
What begins as a nuisance soon becomes an obsession. The stain spreads, defying logic, and the pipes begin to whisper with the echoes of something trapped within. She learns the house’s previous owner vanished under mysterious circumstances, linked to an old local ritual of “washing away” sins. Now, she must uncover the truth before the water rising from the drain claims her, too—not to cleanse, but to drown.
