When the ocean still lived. 1998 there were over 200 dive shops in the little town of San Miguel Cozumel MX. Now, less than a dozen. Fewer creatures to see. The coral bleaches white and dies. The majestic purple fans are covered in slime. Global warming carbon dioxide is mostly absorbed by the sea. The friendly manhandling of the sea creatures in a national park is now a federal Mexican offense.
