00:00Camila Cabello's solo career is bigger than even she expected, and it looks like her ex-girl group could be in serious trouble after her departure.
00:09Hey guys, it's Ally for Hollywood Life, and as you might know, Camila's self-titled debut album went to number one on the Billboard charts,
00:16and is still sitting comfortably in the top ten.
00:19Her smash Havana also continues its reign, sitting tight at number four, and her album overall has gone instant flat up.
00:27Camila's ex-group Fifth Harmony, meanwhile, have also dropped their own self-titled third album to much less acclaim and far fewer sales, moving only 32,000 units in its first week.
00:40This doesn't count streams, of course, but compare that to their first two albums, both of which included Camila and both of which went platinum.
00:48Camila is riding this wave of success and has now announced several summer 2018 dates for her Never Be The Same tour in England.
00:56At the same time Cam is making dates, Fifth Harmony is canceling them.
01:00The girls initially postponed shows set to happen across Australia in 2017, to the dismay of fans.
01:06Well, now they have just announced they are canceling those rescheduled dates again due to, quote,
01:12a necessary scheduling requirement.
01:14Aussie fans are pissed, but the real explanation can only be that they didn't sell enough tickets down under to justify the expense of a huge trek across another continent.
01:25This news comes on the heels of the quiet announcement that Normani signed a solo deal with Sam Smith's label Stellar Songs.
01:32There were also reports in July that Lauren Haraghi was moving from Epic to Columbia Records to ink her own solo deal.
01:39The group has seemingly denied the split rumors anonymously, we believe via publicist, to various fact-checking websites.
01:46But it's telling the girls haven't come out together with an explicit statement that they aren't going anywhere.
01:525-H was on a high until 2016 when Camila went her own way.
01:56This culminated in an attempt to show fans they were better off with this stunt at the 2017 VMAs,
02:02where they ripped a Camila dummy off the stage, I guess to symbolize their new leaner lineup.
