00:21I am in Beijing now to inform you that the government of China presents its new policy
00:27document for Latin America and the Caribbean today at a time when the region is facing
00:34increasing external tensions. The Caribbean has been the scene of United States military
00:41deployments, maneuvers that raise concerns about the risk of forceful actions or even threats of
00:50military invasion, particularly against Venezuela. In this context, China calls to preserve
00:57regional stability and takes special relevance, highlighting the importance of maintaining
01:03Latin America and the Caribbean as a space of peace and cooperation. Let's now look at the words
01:12of the Chinese government representative Tsai Wei during the presentation of the document.
01:21China reiterated its support for the proclamation of Latin America and the Caribbean as the zone of peace.
01:27China, as well as a declaration by 33 countries of the region for the establishment of a nuclear weapon-free zone.
