Grimace, the lovable purple mascot from McDonald’s golden age of characters, is back—and this time, he’s on your Game Boy Color. Released as a real playable retro-style game, it blends pixel art charm with fast-paced side-scrolling fun, all wrapped in a surprisingly slick package. While McDonald’s may not push mascots the way it used to, Grimace is proving he’s still got game—literally. Yair Ben-Dor has more.
