00:18The late rapper's family announced yesterday that their Celebration of Life benefit concert will be live streamed on platforms like Facebook, Tidal, Twitter and YouTube at 9.30pm Eastern Time.
00:29Performers will include Travis Scott, Chance the Rapper, SZA, John Mayer and more.
00:34But speaking of concerts, Tekashi 6ix9ine blew off a concert on Sunday at Howard University to perform at Powerhouse in New Jersey instead.
00:42TMZ is reporting that the rapper canceled his appearance 35 minutes before doors were opened and the venue was forced to turn away around 400 people already waiting in line.
00:52Sources tell TMZ that 6ix9ine was paid 60k in advance and this is the second concert he's canceled with the promoter.
00:59The cancellation reportedly cost the promoters about 300k after issuing refunds and they're thinking about taking legal action against the rapper.
01:07Moving on to other legal things, Pharrell Williams has issued a cease and desist letter to President Donald Trump over the use of his song Happy.
01:14This comes after Trump played the song at a political event in Indiana just hours after the tragic shooting at the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh.
01:23Pharrell isn't the first artist to do this.
01:25Rock band Aerosmith issued a cease and desist to the President earlier this year after Trump used their song Livin' on the Edge during a rally in West Virginia.
01:33I guess Trump will just have to play all Kanye songs during rallies going forward.
01:37Ugh, no one man should have all that power.
01:40But okay, it doesn't look like Nicki Minaj and Lil Yachty will have a song together anytime soon.
