Balgownie Public School students visited Tarrawanna Garden Village residents to sing Christmas carols, participate in craft activities and have morning tea to spread Christmas cheer. December 10, 2025. Video by Adam McLean.
00:00And we were approached by Balgownie School and asked if we were interested in hosting an intergenerational visit from the children, predominantly the choir, and we jumped at it.
00:11And the residents are so excited about the children coming that I think that'll be very productive for both generations and then we're going to put on a nice morning tea for them.
00:21It gives me new zest for life because the children really make you feel happy the way they carry on, the way they talk.
00:28They're so natural and I like the natural part of the children.
00:32The sounds of children always is a happy sound.
00:35There's nothing better than hearing people with their grandchildren visiting and you just hear the kids laughing and sometimes crying, but enjoying being with their grandparents.
00:44And I think that's such an important part of us ageing is to keep in touch with the young ones.
00:58We have acussion from opening and beginning.
01:01So we became a first of our Maryland,Esumen Engineering after the surgery.
01:04As men can see the
01:15the children of Elmarin.
01:16And on the other hand, people like a word in the garden and when they see the children of theiraves or their food in the garden.
01:18And we're, so we take home and we have the children of their grandparents, but Haboublia.
