00:00A pair of Afghan nationals are facing prison sentences, sex offender registration and deportation

00:06after pleading guilty to raping a 15-year-old girl in a park in central England.

00:11According to police, the disturbing attack happened in May when the asylum seekers John

00:16Jahanzeb and Israr Niazel, both 17 years old, steered the 15-year-old victim away from her

00:22friend group in Leamington Spa in Warwickshire and brutally raped her in a park.

00:28Grainy's surveillance footage released by the Warwickshire police showed the two asylum

00:32seekers on either side of the victim, guiding her away from her friend group before launching

00:36the attack.

00:37Prosecutors said the boys brought the victim, who was out drinking with her friends, to

00:41a quote, den-type area in a park known as the Newbold Common, where they pushed her to the

00:47ground and assaulted her.

00:49According to the BBC, more disturbing evidence was also played in court, including cell phone

00:54footage recovered by police and recorded by the victim, which showed her screaming for

00:58help and Jahanzeb covering her mouth to muffle the shrieks.

01:02The Sun reported that more clips captured by the teen showed her crying and begging not

01:07to be brought into the park.

01:09After the disturbing assault, the teen victim eventually escaped and was helped by a good

01:12Samaritan who told her to call the police.

01:15WLBC reported that one of the Afghan National's lawyers said the video clips were so disturbing

01:20that it would cause, quote, disorder if the general public were exposed to it.

01:24Jahanzeb was sentenced to ten years and eight months, while Niazel was sentenced to nine years

01:29in ten months.
