00:00Coming in, I never in my wildest dream thought that I would be on Strictly.

00:05You know, I went through the audition process in 2022.

00:08I just missed out.

00:09And for me, I was like, OK, you know, it would have been cool, but that's all right.

00:13You know, I'll just I still loved my life back home.

00:15I'm like, you know, I'm just I got go back to my great, you know, at the time girlfriend,

00:19you know, now fiance and I'll just keep surfing and going to the beach and, you know, doing my thing.

00:27And then when I got the opportunity this time around, I was like, oh, this is this is great.

00:31And so, yeah, then obviously you don't know if you're going to get a partner or not.

00:35And then I got a partner, which I was just so incredibly grateful for.

00:39And then to be on this journey together, I have no idea what expectations, beliefs or, you know, whatever I had.

00:47But it's just been it's been so incredible.

00:50I've learned so much about myself as a teacher, as a performer, as a choreographer.

00:55And the reason why I've learned so much is because Bao's just been such an incredible student.

00:59And we've had some we've had some challenging moments.

01:02Always.

01:03But that's what has made us, I think, grow so much.

01:06And, yeah, I've just had the absolute ride of my life.
