00:00What a wild AFC pictures. We take a look at some of the playoffs here. If the season ended today,
00:05Joe, the Broncos, Patriots, Jaguars, Steelers, Bills, Chargers, and Texans would be in.
00:10Yeah, the Colts that we were talking about a few short weeks ago, the best record in the NFL,
00:14they're on the outside looking in right now. The Baltimore Ravens, who many people had as their
00:17favorites to win the championship this year, opening up in the season for six and seven in
00:22ninth spot. The Kansas City Chiefs, they always make the AFC championship game at least and then
00:26play for a Super Bowl. They're currently sitting at six and seven as well. The two teams at the top
00:30of the heap, the Broncos and the Patriots, which is incredible. And then how about Duval County down
00:36there? Nine and four. And then the Steelers with their big win over the Baltimore Ravens,
00:40they sit at seven and six. If we're looking at this playoff picture, Joe, the has-beens,
00:46I guess you can call them now, right? The Ravens and the Chiefs on the outside looking in,
00:50the new kids on the block, the Patriots and the Broncos, both sit at 11 and two, man.
00:54Yeah, it's kind of crazy, right? Didn't necessarily have that on the bingo card, but
01:02it just goes to show you that Indy, a month ago when they mortgaged part of their future assets
01:10to win now, they truly saw what we saw. This is anybody's game in the AFC, right? I mean,
01:18how much confidence do we have with some of these, with the Patriots of the world? And do we trust
01:24every one of these teams has serious flaws and question parts, Donnie, of the AFC? It's very
01:31hard to look at anyone and be like, well, you know, we don't have a Chiefs this year, right? We just,
01:37we don't, we don't have that. We don't have a Ravens this year. Even Buffalo's got a million
01:42questions. So it is, even though the record is great, there are still, to me, a lot to be determined
01:49here down the stretch. Yeah, you hit like the nail on the head, Joe, right there, because we're
01:53talking about teams with the trustability in the playoffs. So, well, Donnie, how could you trust
01:56the Bills and never get to the Super Bowl? It's still Josh Allen. They're still used to being up
02:00top. You know, you take a look at the Ravens. They're always there in the end. Hey, healthy
02:03Lamar Jackson, of course, they're going to make a deep run in the playoffs. And the same thing with
02:06the Kansas City Chiefs was Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes. We don't have that, which means when we're
02:10taking a look at the possibilities of who can win and what the odds would be, that's why the Bills are plus
02:14370. Wait a second. They're two games back or three games back right now. Two and a half games,
02:18I should say, back of the, you know, the New England Patriots who were in first place with
02:23another game on deck with them. Are we waiting again in a wait and see mode? Like, ah, who cares?
02:27If the Bills lose again to the Patriots, they're still going to be as favored in the playoffs and
02:31they should be able to win. I don't know that here. But the one thing I do know is every team is
02:34vulnerable at some time. And then you look at the top of the standings, the Jaguars. We've seen what
02:38Trevor Lawrence, you know, does in the playoffs at this point. Not particularly good. We've seen the
02:43Patriots with Tom Brady do damage. We don't know what they're going to do without Tom Brady in the
02:47playoffs here. And the same thing with the Broncos and Bo Nix at this point. Love a good story, but
02:51also at the same time, I watched the Broncos go, well, that offense isn't all that explosive.
02:54Leaning on the defense here, playing close games usually catches up to you. There's a lot of stuff
02:59in that top four, top five teams that you can have questions about. Or can the Ravens or the Chiefs
03:04sneak back in? I don't think that's going to happen, but I'll tell you one thing. Huge win for the
03:08Chargers last night to put them at eight and four now. And maybe they can look at the Broncos and say,
03:12let's get back into this thing. Yeah. I mean, listen, there is still time for one of these
03:20teams to write the ship, figure it out and get hot down to stretch, Donnie. We have seen that
03:26a lot. And so for all the faults, there are still some opportunities here. And I think these games
03:33coming up, some of these games in week 15, I mean, I think we're going to learn a lot about the Rams
03:39and Detroit this week. I think we're going to learn a lot about the Bills and the Patriots this
03:44week, right? There are some games coming up here in this week 15. And the bigger, maybe the biggest
03:50question in the AFC, Donnie, is who's coming out of the AFC North exactly? And will it matter?
03:58Can any one of them figure it out in time? You know, because I'd still take Burrow,
04:02a healthy Lamar, you know what I mean? Give me something there that they can figure it out if
04:09they can. But I don't have any idea who's coming out of that division.
