Cases vs senators linked to flood control corruption may be filed next week — Ombudsman
The Office of the Ombudsman says cases against senators linked to the flood-control scandal could be filed as early as next week. Spokesman Mico Clavano said on Dec. 9, 2025 that timing depended on the strength of each case, with high-profile targets expected to be announced by Ombudsman Jesus Crispin Remulla on Dec. 10.

00:58Sir, maaabot pa rin po ba natin yung deadline na yun?
01:02Obviously, may proseso po yan, and as per his pronouncements, hindi naman po yan strict deadline.
01:11It's a deadline that he imposed on himself so that we have to balance kasi yung speed, saka yung quality, saka due diligence.
01:19So, it's possible na merong iba na malalabasan ang war to forest, pero hindi pa muna lahat dahil kailangan po tayo dumaan sa tamang proseso.

04:14Ang hinahabol ho natin yung totoong accountability, totoong may mananagot sa mga kasalanang ginawa sa taong bayan.
04:22So, if we were to just keep filing and filing, mahirap po yun dahil sa dulo, tayo rin ang sisisihin ng taong bayan na hindi natin nakakulong ang mga taong kailangan managot.
04:35And there's a difference, no? These cases, hindi lahat yan patas-patas ang ebidensya.
04:42There are some cases that are stronger than others.
05:05Some cases that are more vulnerable than others.
