NASA astronaut Jonny Kim and Roscosmos cosmonauts Sergey Ryzhikov and Alexey Zubritzky have closed the ISS hatch and begun preparations for their return to Earth aboard the Soyuz MS-27 spacecraft. After spending 245 days in space, completing over 3,900 Earth orbits and traveling nearly 104 million miles, the crew is now moving through final procedures ahead of undocking and their planned landing in Kazakhstan.
