00:00Nafili si Jeff Kent bilang pinakabagong inductee sa Baseball Hall of Fame matapos i-vote ng Contemporary Era Committee noong linggo.

00:08Nakuha ni Kent ang 14 sa 16 na balota, dalawa higit sa kinakailangan 12 votes upang maabot ng 75% na pamantayan para makapasok sa Hall of Fame.

00:18Inatalaga siya sa prestigyosong hall sa Cooperstown, New York.

00:22Sa darating na July 16, kasama ng mga mahalal naman ng Baseball Writers Association of America na i-anunsyo sa January 20,

00:32si Kent ang may pinakamaraming home runs bilang isang second baseman sa kasaysayan na may 351 homers sa kanyang karera.

00:39Isang record na hanggang ngayon ay hindi pa nalalampasan sa posisyong iyon.
