00:00full circle moment, but obviously today, Danielle, we're here to talk about you
00:04and you're speaking publicly about your eczema for the first time. So tell me, you know, a little
00:10bit about your diagnosis and why now you decided to come forward and talk about it.
00:15Well, I, I partnered with, um, Sanofi and, uh, Regeneron and, um, I, I just kind of wanted to
00:23get my story out there because I had such a hard time like figuring things out. And,
00:28um, once I kind of got a treatment that my doctor did prescribe for me, I,
00:35I just wanted to tell other people about it because it helped me so much and it just got my
00:41life back a little bit more because of it. Um, so I had like an underlining condition and through
00:50trying to figure out what that was, it brought forward like eczema. So I started talking to
00:56my dermatologist and, and I've tried to figure out like what to kind of do for it. I tried other
01:02options and then she said, Hey, why don't you try Dupixin known as Dupilumab? And so I started
01:11using it. And there was just one day when I came down to Kevin and I was like, I finally can like
01:19put a hairbrush through my hair without like discomfort. And, um, it was a life change.
01:25Like she's like, you're, I'm going to, I'm going to jump in. You're done playing it a little bit.
01:29It was, it was, it was for her and she, you know, was on a long journey finding it, finding this out.
01:35And then it was just the simplest thing that the girl was willing to put with her hair.
01:38There's discomfort. And so I would jump in and I'd actually let them play with my hair,
01:43you know? And so, so this was years of, you know, struggle of trying to figure it out and also get better.
01:47But at the same time, the minute she was, she used Dupixin, I saw like over a course of time,
01:54I saw what an incredible change in her demeanor, you know, last tour, you really didn't come on.
02:00I didn't go out a lot. Yeah. You know, there was just like, just, I was just very uncomfortable
02:06and itchy and like, it just, I just didn't feel like myself. I didn't feel like I looked myself,
02:12but just, I don't know. So this really did help a lot.
02:17Yeah. And how did the, how did the partnership kind of come about? Just once you started using
02:21it, they reached out to you or how did that come about?
02:23I kind of, I feel like I was,
02:26She was so grateful.
02:27She like reached, we like, you were like, Kevin, do you think we could reach out?
02:30Sounds like you definitely can.
02:31I just really wanted to share with other people, like what this could do for them and like how
02:37they could get their life back, you know, feeling like they could go out. And I, I just,
02:43I felt so kind of like depressed about like how I was feeling. And I just, I wanted to go back on
02:52tour with him and stuff. And people were wondering where I was and it just didn't feel comfortable.
02:57So it just, it really gave my life back.
03:01I'm so happy for you that that's nice to, to feel good about yourself. It's just so important.
03:07Of course, when it comes to the tour, obviously, and you started kind of touching on that a little
03:12and wanting to be on the, be on the road and everything, what does life kind of look like
03:16for you when Kevin's and the girls with him the whole time? Like, how does that work?
03:21No, we're kind of in and out. Like we start with him because it's during the summer normally when
03:26he starts out and, um, then I'll come home and they start school. Cause I like them to be with
03:32like friends and like, just have like their own kind of life. More of a structure, you know,
03:39like, but at the same time I get a little greedy, like you just miss a Friday sometimes or a Thursday,
03:43you know, they could just pop out for a four day weekend. Um, but this is a long one, right?
03:48You know, we, uh, it's been a long time since we've done a full world tour and this one is
03:53one of those. So we're still figuring it out. We're, we're, uh, we're, we're, we're on the
03:58Yankees Eve right now. So we'll, um, we'll see how, talk to us in six months and see if the kids
04:03are with us full time. But they, they love it. Oh man. Alina's been making bracelets for hours.
04:10Yes. Stop. That's so, I was going to say they're obviously getting to the age now. And even on
04:14the last tour, I guess they sort of were, at least your oldest was where they really know
04:19what's going on. Like, how do they feel about, are they like begging to go to the shows and how much
04:24do you like share with them about what to expect? Uh, they're pretty cool about it. They, they love
04:30being there. They love being a part of it. Um, Valentina, Valentina doesn't love crowds as much
04:35as I think Alina is just that maybe age. Um, but we, you know, we take it one day at a time and we
04:41don't push them to do anything. So if they want to come, we bring them, but we always ask.
04:45They're, they are very proud of him. Like I have never, I hope it never changes. Cause you know,
04:53you know, teenagers, they get older and they're like, Oh, that's my dad. You know, but like right
04:57now they are so proud of him. Like I was there, she was making bracelets and I, she's like, I think
05:04I'm just going to make myself a bracelet now. And I'm like, well, what are you going to write on it?
05:09And she's like, maybe waffle house, or maybe that's my dad.
05:17I didn't see that.
05:18She didn't do it yet, but that's what we were talking about in her bed last night.
05:23That would be funny.
05:25I was like, well, that's pretty good. No one else is going to have that bracelet.
05:29Yeah, exactly. And if they did, it might be a little weird.
05:32Weird. Yeah.
05:33She shouldn't trade that one if she's well, from everything that you guys have teased
05:41and like what we've seen online, like, it seems like this is going to be a very lengthy
05:44show. So Kevin, how have you been like training for that?
05:48It's good.
05:48I'm training pretty hard. I'm doing more cardio than I, I think I was used to.
05:54So, uh, I, you know, I think, I think it's going to just come with time. Um, the rehearsals
05:59definitely night one was, uh, like the full run through was a lot. And then the next morning
06:06I called her, I was just like, okay, so my legs, I need to change my shoes. So I have
06:11shoes with my outfits. Um, now everything's a sneaker. So figure that one out.
06:15Yeah. Smart. I was going to say, it's not only the girls in heels that have to worry
06:18about the shoes. You never know, I guess.
06:20Yeah. No, I am rocking some boots, but it's, you know, stamina is going to be there. It's,
06:25it's good though. It's going to be a long show. Uh, so whoever's coming prepare yourselves.
06:29Yeah. Well, I, I went to the Taylor Swift show in May.
06:32That was the rehearsal. We'll, we'll see if I can.
06:35No, no, that's it. That is, that is the show for sure.
06:38Oh my God. Um, well, I don't know. I know you're not going to give anything crazy away,
06:43but like, what can you tell me?
06:45Well, we're playing, playing it all. Everyone, everyone sounds like,
06:48what's on the cellist for like everything.
06:50Okay. Here's a good question. Is it, is it equal?
06:54Are the songs equally distributed throughout the albums?
06:56Like, are they each getting the same amount of songs?
07:00Same amount of songs. They're all, we're playing every single song ever is being played.
07:05Well, on the five albums, right? On the five albums.
07:08And there's other singles as well, but every song everyone's like, they don't,
07:13they don't really ask this.
07:14I bet I'm a wife and I don't even know it either, but the red, the red and black.
07:19No, that's not on the, that's not, no, starting with Jonas Brothers self-titled.
07:23Okay.
07:24Going up to the.
07:24Glad I didn't even know if I could get into that, but, um,
07:27you have a bone to pick with you guys about that.
07:29We know, we know. Don't worry.
07:30All right. I, I understand, I suppose. Um, well, I have like comment on all your pictures,
07:39like play. I am what I am.
07:40I know we try, we like, you know, let's be honest. There was only so much time, you know,
07:45and, but it's cool. We, we have a very good plan in place. I don't want to get too much away.
07:49It's going to be very exciting. I think our dress rehearsal was an indication of
07:54how people will react to how we worked it out. Um, and it's going to be really fun.
08:00Yeah. Streets on Twitter.
08:01We're calling them mosaics.
08:03All right. There we go. The streets on Twitter are saying it's, it's a good show. So.
08:08Oh, that's good. Well, I'm excited. I'm excited for everyone to see it. Um,
08:12and there's two versions. What we see at Yankees will be what you see at Yankees.
08:14Cause the stadium shows have to be a little different from a staging perspective than the
08:18arena shows, but it's still all going to be so fun.
08:21All right. Well, I'll see you guys there. I can't wait.
08:23And she can come along now, which is great.
08:26Yeah. Amazing. I'm so happy to hear it. And you look amazing. You guys both do. So
08:29it was such a pleasure. I feel like this has been, I mean, I have photos with you back in the day,
08:35but this has been like 18 years in the making. I get to interview you.
08:40Well, it's a pleasure and I'm happy you could come and I'll see you on, you said Sunday.
08:44I'll be there Sunday.
08:45Right. Uh, that's good. Um, that's a good one. All right.
08:48Can't wait. Bye. Nice.
