00:05Special because we will talk about our first Frostpunk 2 DLC, Fractured Ugabias.

00:10In this DLC we focused on expanding and deepening Utopia Builder, our spin on Soundbox mode in Frostpunk world.

00:35First and foremost, we invite you to dive back into the world of Frostpunk, a world that has matured immensely since launch.

00:42Expanded and refined also thanks to your feedback.

00:46True to our design philosophy, this DLC was also very much shaped by your voice.

00:51For some players, story campaign is the main dish of Frostpunk 2.

00:55We see it more as a first taste before you dive into full experience of Utopia Builder.

01:01This is where the game really opens up into this vast, intricate space built for unpredictable stories.

01:07Stories that emerge not just through our gameplay systems, but also from your imagination.

01:13The real stars of this DLC are the factions.

01:17Our goal was to highlight their distinct identities, which come from their particular vision for the world.

01:22Their own Utopia.

01:24To give each Utopia its own flavor, every faction now has a unique Utopia tree.

01:30New city structures, abilities and laws that change the gameplay in meaningful ways and offer a lot of variety.

01:38Consider this.

01:39Each of the 8 factions has its own tree and within each tree there are 12 nodes to unlock.

01:46Yep, that's a lot of new content to discover.

01:48To make factions feel even more integral to the Utopia Builder, we've completely redesigned the main menu,

01:55adding one of the most requested features.

01:57The ability to force your starting faction.

02:00But remember, as one faction gains your favor and sets on its path towards Utopia,

02:05another one will always rise in opposition.

02:08Speaking of emergent narrative, there's plenty of new laws, story arcs and consequences to discover.

02:14Overall, we are adding over 100 new narrative events.

02:18And it's not just the radical factions that got all the attention.

02:21We are introducing a whole new middle path as part of our free major content update,

02:26releasing alongside Fractured Utopias.

02:28That's right, this path will be available to all players.

02:32It is shaped by laws proposed by regular citizens,

02:35with a centrist mindset and it won't break your moral backbone for a change.

02:40Okay, but what about those who prefer more story-driven experience?

02:44Well, sit tight, we've got your back.

02:47In this DLC, we are introducing brand new taste,

02:50providing you with even more tools to inject narrative flavor

02:54into your Utopia Builder playthroughs.

02:56There are two new taste to experience.

02:59Complete with handcrafted, well-written content you don't want to miss.

03:03Doomsayers centers around a wave of defeatism and pessimism

03:07that threatens to infect your society.

03:09Our second tale is called Plague.

03:12Here you must research and deploy a vaccine before a deadly disease

03:16overwhelms your entire city.

03:18Tales are narratively framed gameplay twists,

03:21stories that explore how ideology holds up under extreme pressure.

03:26You can play them in any configuration you want, even all at once.

03:31It's something that has never been done before in any strategy game,

03:34and a great way to challenge yourself.
