00:00now on this thing here the key is to have that green light go on because I
00:10lost the video to this so I'm gonna have to show you how I fix it because they're
00:16probably about fifty dollars now so the first thing you want to do before we
00:25actually splice the wires is if you take the wire here because I always took
00:34care of this I've actually bought this on eBay used I after my other one went and
00:41try to push the wire in here and then see if that light goes on that'll be the
00:54easiest way and of course if that don't work what you do is turn this around and
01:02you got one two three four five one two three four five seven so one two three
01:17four five six seven screws you'll need a screwdriver like this I used to do
01:28laptop work and I needed one of these just for about every laptop so one second I'm
01:35going to loosen those up and now all those screws are loose I don't know see if I
01:42can find a magnet and hold this screwdriver to the magnet that'll be easier see if
01:49they pull out found an old refrigerator magnet just leave that there roll it
01:59around and we come up try each screw or just tip it upside down and then you can set the
02:17screws on the magnet any how watch these things they'll pop out first and you'll notice that you
02:33got to slide up on these this will be the first things that'll fall out but they are different they're
02:43not the you know they're almost similar but one goes on one side one goes on the
02:50other side and then we can take this half off now notice this is the USB so the wires may be different on the
03:05inside and let's go ahead and dump these out so here's the half just in case you guys open up the
03:17wrong see I pulled it back off first and left the top here but there's only if you do have all these
03:28buttons come out it only they only go in one way so you can't really be confused so on this part so
03:38you got the colored buttons and then you got are those connected yeah these are already connected
03:48so you put these in turn them there's one two and if you want the same color
04:08on the colored ones you can just take those out and reverse them but you turn them until they go in deep so
04:23that's in deep that's in deep they're all four are in deep the next part is to the right you have
04:32just these cylinder shapes four of them let me try now it's a light in there so you can see and then
04:53you have these one two three now this button won't work for me again but I didn't realize that was a
05:02button the reason being is because I had to fold the wire over that and it's blocking it okay but I did
05:17manage to put I left the rubber stopper out of it see that
05:23and then this wire was able to see but there was only four wires so you got the white the green the
05:32red and the black on this model anyhow and this cord is long enough where you get a nice cut right right
05:42about here and then you strip each one and I didn't really even solder these I just started with the red
05:52touch the ends twist them started with the red and do the green or the white or whatever just do all
06:01four wires and then press that button while it's still open and you want to get that light so here it
06:11would be right there and you'll see the light go on or off of course I'm not at my computer now on my
06:18laptop but let's finish these there's only two of these left and I noticed the third one didn't come out
06:31it's already there so they go right in here you can see the arrows on this so if you mess it up and you want
06:48the arrow pointing the same way just look at it from the bottom okay okay and then we'll start with the
07:10side so we'll start here and you'll see how it sets let's take this one see that's not the right one
