On 3 December, a Mercedes luxury sedan flew over two cars parked on the road, later crashing badly. According to police, the vehicle belonged to a 55-year-old man who suffered a diabetic incident, causing him to faint at the wheel. After losing control, the car sped into a junction at high speed and went airborne. Bystanders rushed the driver to the hospital, where doctors confirmed multiple fractures but no life-threatening injuries. Authorities suspended his licence for 90 days and fined him 1,600 Romanian leu (nearly Rs. 27,000). An investigation regarding the incident was underway.
