Scotty McCreary was robbed at gunpoint early Monday morning.

But don't worry guys, the season 10 winner of American Idol is doing just fine.

Apparently it was around 2 a.m. when three unidentified robbers broke into Scotty's

apartment near the North Carolina State University campus where he is currently a student.

The suspects reportedly got away with some cash and a few electronics, but luckily no

one including Scotty was hurt.

The country star posted all the drama about the home invasion on his Facebook page, assuring

fans that he's doing okay.

He wrote,

Yes, it was definitely a very scary night.

I will share more when the time is right, but as of now we do not want to do or say anything

that could hinder the investigation.

Now just 24 hours before the robbery, Scotty sent out this tweet that read,

A plane delay in the middle of his tour.

But something tells us he's rethinking that assessment right now.

Despite the recent events, Scotty is set to resume tour on Friday.
