Transcript
00:00On the 23rd of December we do an annual Christmas celebration with some really
00:05close friends of ours and that year we'd gone to the park and we'd ordered pizzas
00:10and the kids were all playing and we found a lump. On the 23rd of December we
00:15went into emergency, on the 24th we were moved on to the oncology ward, on the 25th
00:21they said cancer, the 26th we had a biopsy and on the 27th they named it
00:26metastatic embryonal rhabdomyo-sarcoma. The moment we first found out from the
00:32doctors Tom had cancer it's like somebody's reached into you and ripped
00:36your heart out. It was very difficult for us to go through that the initial stages
00:40of Tom being diagnosed and treated. He was, needles were shoved in him, surgeries
00:46were done, biopsies were done. As a child he was fighting, fighting hard for his life.
