00:00Five, four, three, two, one!
00:09I love this area of London. I love London.
00:14I think all of us do.
00:16And for me to, and the place that I used to come with my kids,
00:19or even when I was younger, maybe even before I had kids,
00:22was Piccadilly and Leicester Square and all the movie theatres.
00:27So I couldn't tell actually properly.
00:29I'd like to go back at night and see it quietly.
00:32But it's really nice to be part of a statue, especially with Kajwab,
00:36and especially for Dilwale Dulaniya Lejaayenge,
00:39on Leicester Square in front of another movie theatres,
00:42where we, I guess all of us have watched films and grown.
00:44And all of us have, we have had films screened there as well.
00:48Yeah, we've had film screenings, I've had popcorn, I've had ice cream there,
00:51I've hung around with the kids.
00:53It's a little unreal. It's a little unreal.
00:55It's a little like, it's so, you know,
00:59It's a little unbelievable.
01:00Yeah, it's a little unbelievable.
01:01I'm still not sure. I hope they keep it there.
01:03I'm like, they're going to take it away from me.
01:05Yeah, I have to, I have to click a picture with my kids in front of it, yeah.
01:08I think it's been 30 years and I think we're happy to say that
01:17it is the longest running film in, not in India, only in the world.
01:21And it's actually gone into the Guinness Book of World Records, etc.
01:24So, super kick to be part of it.
01:26I don't know whether we can take credit for it.
01:29We'd like to, I'm sure Shah Rukh will, but
01:32And rightly so. Let's not say no, but honestly, for Adi, for Mr. Yash Chopra, for Kajol, me,
01:41there were so many wonderful actors.
01:43We didn't realize the magnitude of this film.
01:46You know, that's the most beautiful part of it, because we really shot it like a holiday.
01:50We just kept doing it, the songs.
01:53All of it.
01:54In fact, we were discussing it, in fact, that when we hear the music, we're like, oh my God, what?
01:58It's like, oh my God, it had really good music.
02:01We had fabulous music.
02:02And yeah, when we played it on the bus, nobody complained.
02:06How about that?
02:07Nobody said they don't put off that music or anything like that.
02:10It's quite unbelievable, of course.
02:15I think very fortunate to have been part of a cinema like this.
02:19And absolutely and completely had no knowledge it would be like this.
02:24I don't think we planned for it at all.
02:26No, we definitely did not plan for this.
02:28No idea this would be this.
02:30To be honest, I think a fun trip of 30-40 days when we made this film.
02:34We made it very fast, especially in Switzerland and England.
02:37You know, just quite a freewheeling shooting, handhelds.
02:41And especially here in Leicester Square, you know, I remember we didn't even tell anyone.
02:45We were just doing one quick scene and getting away from it.
02:48So yes, I think it's a moment of pride for Indian cinema.
02:51And I think rightly so in England, which started off this trend of Indian films being recognized the world over now.
02:58I think so the beginning point is UK.
03:00I think that DDLJ has become a kind of a touchstone for Indians living abroad and for all Indians who come abroad really.
03:10It's become like a kind of a, you know, we have to go see that.
03:13I mean, that's the one thing and they see it and they recognize it and there's a familiarity and there's a pull towards it.
03:19So I'm hoping that, yeah, everyone feels that little bit touch of home when they see it.
03:28Here is everyone there.
