00:00Bollywood stars led by Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon are in town to
00:11promote the romantic action comedy, Delwale.
00:15For past two decades, Kajol and King Khan have co-starred in several successful movies.
00:20Khan and Kajol tell Tabloid how it feels to be reunited for a new project.
00:25So, it's been special because we started together and when you start something together
00:29and 22 years later you still come back and do something together, I think it does have
00:34its own special place where there is no space for contempt at all.
00:38Not at all, I see.
00:40And you can say anything to each other at any point?
00:42Is there that kind of comfort level as well?
00:44Mostly, but we still are very dignified and decent about...
00:48Dignified?
00:49Dignified I don't know about.
00:50No, no, I meant in terms of emotions.
00:52We never cross boundaries.
00:54I think that's what keeps us so well together.
00:58That we know the areas which are 99.9% of each other's life and we say the right thing
01:06to each other because we feel the other person very, very well.
01:09They also talk about reasons that convinced them to do the movie which is under the direction
01:14of Rohit Shetty.
01:15I don't think script is sold so much.
01:19I think it's narrated, definitely, it's told and you have an idea of what he plans to do
01:25with it because it's the way he says it and explains certain scenes, certain shots and
01:32certain ideas of what he plans to do with them.
01:35But I think more of it, as far as I was concerned it was the script, Shah Rukh, Rohit in that
01:44order particularly.
01:45And you?
01:46I've worked with him.
01:47I really like what he does.
01:49I think he makes really wonderful films.
01:50The first time I called him was after seeing Golmaal 3 and I called Ajay, I called Kareena
01:55and I said, you're such a wonderful film.
01:57Then I happened to bump into him in Filmistan and I said, please do a film, I really like
02:00this mad humour that you have and he came up with Chennai and Angoor and then while
02:06you were doing Chennai, at the end of it, he narrated this film to me.
02:09And I think it's really nice.
02:10I get along with him so there's no selling of a script to me from Rohit.
02:14You form bonds with Karan and Adi and some film Farah, you know, we'll work something
02:20out nice together.
02:21So Rohit is one of those directors with me now.
02:23Kostar, Sanan and Dhawan also talked about their experiences working on the film.
02:27It is a very commercial, mainstream film but trust me, it's a very, very challenging role
02:32to pull off sometimes things that defy logic or you might not believe in the first instance.
02:38As an actor, you know, to sell those things to the audience is very difficult.
02:41Okay, and how about you?
02:42What do you think?
02:43You're just lucky to be a part of a Shah Rukh Khan movie or?
02:46That of course I am, that of course I am but also I think this film is, it's more about
02:52a family film.
02:53It's more about families.
02:55It's two separate love stories and if you see all Rohit Chetty films, even when they
03:02are like an ensemble, I think everyone has a separate track going on.
03:07Everyone has their own space.
03:09So I think we were never really worried about being sidetracked or something.
03:14I think we did know what character we're playing and what is our role in the whole film and
03:20at the end of it, it is about a family.
03:22The movie will be released in India on December 18 and will hit UAE cinemas on December 17
03:29alongside the Hollywood film Star Wars.
03:32Irish Iden Belyaza for Tabloid.
