00:00The President of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, held a telephone conversation this Saturday

00:04with the President of Turquía, Recep Tayyip Erdogan,

00:07in which they exchanged positions, criteria and assessments on global geopolitics,

00:12as well as on the most recent global events that affected the stability and future of humanity.

00:17Through a statement, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan expressed his deep concern

00:21about the threats recently looming over Venezuela,

00:24particularly the military deployment and various actions aimed at disrupting peace

00:28and security in the Caribbean.

00:30He expressed his solidarity with the Venezuelan people

00:32and his commitment to defending international law and the sovereignty of nations.

00:37For his part, President Nicolás Maduro explained it in detail,

00:41the illegal, disproportionate, unnecessary and even extravagant nature of these threats,

00:46making it clear that Venezuela continues to work steadfastly for economic growth,

00:51national peace and political stability.

00:54Finally, President Nicolás Maduro extended an invitation to President Recep Tayyip Erdogan,

00:58to visit Venezuela on the occasion of the fifth meeting of the Venezuela-Turquía Joint Commission,

01:04scheduled to be held in 2026,

01:07where the framework for political, social, economic and cultural cooperation

01:11between the two countries will be expanded and deepened.
