00:00Venezuela's President Nicolás Maduro remembered the heroic feats of liberator Simón Bolívar

00:05to support his call for a new eco-socialist model that allowed the climate recovery of

00:10the planet.

00:11A President's call took place during the commemoration of the 200th anniversary of

00:16the Shukisaka Decree signed by Simón Bolívar, where he launched the book Eco-Socialism, Chronicles

00:22of a Country in Bloom.

00:24During the event, Maduro affirmed that socialism was the only model that guaranteed a great

00:29global balance by rejecting greed and war for natural resources.

00:34A Bolivarian head of state assured that the Bolivarian spirit also poses the uncontrolled

00:39ambition of the empires.

00:41He also reiterated that the defense of the country and its resources is based on the nation's

00:46constitution and laws, and that Venezuela is not a colony of anyone and follows a sovereign

00:52path to development and peace.

00:54In an official letter, it is proposed and approved to name the Republic of Bolivar.

01:08And Bolivar said, I am very grateful, but I believe you should look for another name in

01:13that place in Upper Peru, full of the glory of the ancient Inca state, where the Aymara,

01:26Quechua and Guarani people survived by resisting.

01:29The delegations deliberated and said, ask the liberator if he would accept the honor of being

01:36called the Republic of Bolivia.

01:46And the liberator said, I do not deserve such a glory, but I agree that it should be called

01:51the Republic of Bolivia.

01:53And so Bolivia was born as a republic dedicated to the greatest men in America.

01:59The Venezuelan president, Nicolás Maduro, defined socialism as a model that rejects

02:08war for natural resources and promote instead the solidarity of humankind in opposition to

02:12greed.

02:13The perfect balance, and that is the socialism, and only socialism can because socialism is

02:21not based on inequality.

02:24Socialism rejects the war, the war for petroleum, for gold, for land.

02:31Socialism rejects totally the greed, the ambition, without measure, the monopolies.

02:38Socialism cultivates values that are deeply human with solidarity, not as it was said in the

02:51past, dog-eat-dog, many brothers of the men and the women, sisters of the women and the

03:00peoples, the brothers of the peoples that said, to those who are ambitious and imperialists,

03:07no to war for petroleum, no to war, and the blood for land, and no to war for oil and diamonds.
