00:00Animal Crossing New Horizons 3.0 update and Nintendo Switch 2 edition have been announced by Nintendo.
00:06The Switch 2 version will feature improved visuals, mouse controls, and an in-game megaphone that uses the console's microphone.
00:13As well, up to 12 players can play together and use game chat.
00:17The 3.0 update will be available for the original Switch version, bringing a new resort hotel where you can decorate guest rooms and earn a new currency to unlock items.
00:26You can also upgrade your storage to hold 9,000 items, including plants, and visit Slumber Island, along with a load more new features.
00:35Both the 3.0 update and Switch 2 edition will arrive on January 15, 2026.
