Canada-Returned Woman Arrested for Husband’s Murder

00:00That's a woman deported from Canada, now accused of faking a robbery to hide murder.

00:05Police said it all began on the night of November 28, 2025 when Rupinder Kaur called them

00:10claiming robbers had killed her husband Gurvinder Singh. According to police,

00:14her story didn't add up and when questioned, she admitted that she and her lover,

00:18Harkanwal Preet Singh, had killed Gurvinder after he discovered their affair.

00:22Police said Rupinder and Harkanwal Preet lured Gurvinder home that night and strangled him.

00:27Both had previously been deported from Canada. They had met online overseas and their

00:31relationship continued after Rupinder returned to Punjab earlier this year.

00:35The victim's sister in Manveer Kaur filed the complaint which led to their arrest.
