00:00This is my GoPro Hero 12 and I'm going to do a quick review on this. I'm going to tell you everything that you should know before buying it and if I think it's worth it.
00:07So I am super impressed with the quality of this camera. It has tons of cool features which I probably won't even get to them all in this video, but it can do a super wide POV with hyper view.
00:20You also get super view, wide, linear, and linear horizon lock which is super cool. So watch this. You can tilt the camera but it doesn't tilt in the video. How cool is that?
00:33It locks with the horizon and it keeps it perfectly level but the main reason why I got the GoPro Hero 12, I upgraded from the GoPro Hero 9 and that's because it can shoot in a full frame square video which means you can legit film in horizontal and vertical at the same time.
00:49So it films in a square and you can either crop it to horizontal or vertical with very minimal crop.
00:55So if you're filming for social media, like if you want to film, like if you want to film for a YouTube video but you also want to film for Instagram, you can do that in the same clip with this which is so cool.
01:05But there's also tons of different video modes. You got time-lapse modes right here so you can do night-lapse.
01:11Here's all the settings. Time warp, star trails, light painting, vehicle lights, time-lapse, night-lapse.
01:17I filmed night-lapses with this and it's the coolest thing ever.
01:21Also the photo mode, this thing takes amazing high-quality photos. It's super impressive what this little camera can do.
01:27And it's also got this front screen right here which is super cool so you can see what the camera is seeing whenever you're setting up the camera.
01:33And also the battery lasts really long on this too. It lasts way longer than my old GoPro Hero 9 battery.
01:39But yeah, those are just a few of the features that I really like about this camera.
01:41I use this thing in water all the time and it's perfectly fun.
01:45But yeah, I would definitely recommend this if you're looking for a good action camera.
