00:17New South Wales Premier Chris Minns said at least 12 homes were damaged
00:21as bushfires swept through Kulawang, about 45 kilometres north of Sydney.
00:26Obviously the situation in Kulawang is devastating for the people who have lost their houses.
00:32We have got a confirmed situation of 12 damaged or destroyed homes as it currently stands,
00:40though that number may rise.
00:42There are no reports of missing, injured or killed individuals as it currently stands, which is good news.
00:50More than 70 bushfires were burning across the state late on Saturday,
00:54including a major blaze in the Upper Hunter region at the highest emergency rating,
00:58which has already consumed nearly 10,000 hectares.
