విజయవాడలో స్క్రబ్ టైఫస్ కేసులతో అలజడి మొదలైంది. కంచికచర్ల, జి.కొండూరులో రెండు కేసులు నమోదయ్యాయి. ప్రస్తుతం బాధితులు విజయవాడ ప్రభుత్వ ఆసుపత్రిలో చికిత్స పొందుతున్నారు. కంచికచర్లకు చెందిన కృష్ణవేణి(45) జ్వరంతో బాధపడుతూ గురువారం జీజీహెచ్కు వచ్చింది. జి.కొండూరుకు చెందిన ఎస్.రాకేష్.. రెండున్నరేళ్ల బాలుడు సైతం జ్వరంతో బాధపడుతుండగా తల్లిదండ్రులు విజయవాడ పాతాసుపత్రికి తీసుకొచ్చారు. జ్వరం, దగ్గు, జలుబు లక్షణాలతో వచ్చిన వారికి ప్రభుత్వ ఆసుపత్రిలో నిత్యం స్క్రబ్ టైఫస్ నిర్ధారణ పరీక్షలు చేస్తున్నారు. తాజాగా శుక్రవారం రెండు ఆసుపత్రుల్లో 54 మందికి పరీక్షలు నిర్వహించగా.. కృష్ణవేణి, రాకేష్లకు పాజిటివ్ వచ్చింది. ప్రస్తుతం వీరి ఆరోగ్యం నిలకడగానే ఉందని సూపరింటెండెంట్ డాక్టర్ ఎ.వి.రావు తెలిపారు. ముందస్తుగానే వీరికి పరీక్షలు నిర్వహించి.. వ్యాధి నిర్ధారణ చేయడంతో.. సరైన చికిత్స అందించగలిగామన్నారు.
Scrub Typhus cases are causing concern in Vijayawada as two new cases have been confirmed in Kanchikacherla and G. Konduru.
Case Details: • Krishnaveni (45) from Kanchikacherla tested positive after suffering from fever. • 2.5-year-old boy S. Rakesh from G. Konduru also tested positive. • Both are receiving treatment at Vijayawada Government Hospitals.
