00:00Let me just give a little context to the Jalen Brown thing, though.

00:02And I know we were talking about Tracy McGrady on the podcast.

00:04That was based on the Celtics continuously shopping him.

00:09So it was like he's never been at a point where he said, I don't want to be here,

00:14other than based off of situations where they've indicated they're going to move on from him.

00:20So that's sort of the situation.

00:22And by the way, do I think Jalen Brown is going to finish this current contract as a Celtic?

00:27I do not.

00:27I think the financial burden eventually of having two Supermax guys and where they're at

00:33and the fact that Jalen Brown is going to be 30 next year,

00:36I think they will once again start shopping him for a younger partner for Jason Tatum.

00:40But it's not like he's been one of those guys who has said, oh, I want to get out of here.

00:45It's been based off the way the team has treated him,

00:49which is not as an equal partner to Tatum and shopping him in these deals.

00:53Well, fine.

00:54And his issue isn't with Tatum.

00:55It's with the dynamic of his current of his role.

00:58It's fine.

00:59These are all topics that every NBA team deals with, including this one.

01:02So can we slap a headline on that one and put it on our web?

01:05So I buried the lead there.

01:07Gasper, Colin, Brown will not finish this contract with the Celtics.

01:30and with a different ownership group and how taxing it can be,

01:35both from a salary cap standpoint and just a raw dollar standpoint

01:38to have two Supermax players,

01:41they will, I think, eventually peel him off for a younger,

01:45cheaper running mate for Jason Tatum.
