00:07There is a lot of history that supports the development of this relationship.
00:13Since the Soviet period, it was a very positive relationship between the two countries.
00:19And since then, we've seen further development, further enhancement of this relationship in the economic sphere.
00:31There are a lot of common interests in the economic sphere.
00:34There's a lot of potential to pursue there in terms of bilateral trade, bilateral investment, in terms of geopolitics, in terms of geoeconomics, a lot of common interests.
00:44But there's also the personal touch, so to say, and the strong personal relationship between the two leaders is also very supportive for the broader relationship between the two countries.
00:58What about the timing? What's the significance of the timing of this visit and its geopolitical backdrop?
01:04Well, I think both countries are to some degree under pressure and are pressured by the West on various fronts, whether this is geopolitics in the case of Russia and economic issues and trade issues with regard to India.
01:25And basically, this meeting is a way for both countries to show there are options, there are significant and very strong options for them to pursue.
01:37And this bilateral relationship certainly has tremendous potential, tremendous reservoir of trade, mutual investment that could be pursued to mutual benefit.
01:51And this is, I think, is a very powerful demonstration effect, a very powerful signal that this relationship basically allows both countries to, you know, basically deal with that kind of pressure on the international arena.
02:11Russia says it's ready to supply uninterrupted fuel to India, despite objections from President Trump.
02:18What will that mean for India?
02:21Well, for India, this is a stable supply of resources that supports its strong economic growth.
02:32Certainly, India, with its economic growth accelerating now close to double digits, will need to find those reliable sources of energy supply.
02:48And certainly, Russia does present that kind of option.
02:54And furthermore, this is supply that is provided to India on favorable terms.
03:01Certainly, one of India's concerns in external trade is imbalances and trade deficits.
03:08But that kind of supply of energy on favorable terms that is reliable, I think, is certainly a major benefit that India enjoys in its trade and economic relationship with Russia.
03:24What is Russia getting out of this visit?
03:26Well, for Russia, this is an enormous market, and it's not just the current size.
03:36It's also the growth, the growth of the economy.
03:39So, this is basically the future of the world economy.
03:44India presents tremendous opportunities to Russian producers.
03:49And certainly, there are also tremendous possibilities for bilateral alliances, strategic alliances between the companies of both countries.
04:00So, I think, for Russia, one of the key benefits is on the economic side.
04:08But there's also, of course, the reliability, the long-term relationship with India that is predictable, that is stable.
04:18And that is also very important in a world that is becoming so unstable and so volatile as we see it now and currently.
