00:00so one of the things that you can do is work around with data validation for whole number

00:10and decimal as well for example if i were to go ahead and type in anything right here

00:15then it simply accepts out the data but if you want to go ahead and then work around with data

00:21validation then what you can do is go around onto a particular cell and then go to the data tab

00:28so here you can see that data validation is an option so once you go around over here and then

00:33click on data validation then what you can do right here is you can go around over here under

00:39allow let's say for example and choose whole number so then what you have is you have an option to choose

00:46numbers between certain brains or greater than certain brains and so forth so let's just go

00:52around over here on to greater than and i'm going to say minimum is going to be 100 right here

00:58so let's just press ok and if i were to press 1 then it does not actually take the value if i were to type

01:04in 100 it does not take the value right here because that's the minimum value so it has to be 101 right

01:12here so above 100 is the only value it will take but if i were to go around over here and type in

01:19101.1 then it doesn't take it because we actually selected whole number in validation i can go around

01:27over here onto data validation right here just like this and then here you can see the whole number you

01:33can also choose decimal right here so it's greater than 100 right here and now if i were to go ahead

01:39and type in 101.1 right here then it takes that value up right there because we selected our decimal

01:47value now so that is how you can go ahead and work around with data validation for whole number
