00:00My daughter Eleanor, who's now 18, turned 18 on the 29th of October, relapsed from her initial
00:06cancer treatment back in July of this year. We've experienced what it is like not to have this
00:13facility for the first few weeks when Eleanor was first diagnosed in Oxford. Trying to maintain any
00:18kind of normal, any kind of normality, cooking for a child that has no appetite and trying to get
00:26nutrition, in trying to get enough sleep as a parent to try and look after your child. I couldn't
00:33overemphasise how vital a facility like this is to families. Having some kind of facility like this,
00:41we can't imagine what life would have been like without it. We couldn't speak highly enough of it
00:45and it just makes a very difficult situation seem just slightly better, just slightly better.
00:51We have launched our Home for Christmas appeal with the charity Young Lies Versus Cancer.
00:5712 children and young people receive a cancer diagnosis every day. There are plenty of ways to
01:01donate by text, post, online or via the QR code on the screen. Help us provide the support they need
01:08this Christmas.
