00:00Let's talk about an old war that doesn't seem to end.
00:03And I want to ask you whether you're surprised that Steve Wyckoff left Moscow earlier in the week without a deal.
00:12Yeah, you know, I support the diplomacy.
00:15I think that we have to have a diplomatic end.
00:17And I applaud President Trump's team for trying to find a diplomatic way out of this nightmare.
00:21The problem is that they don't have the tools that they need to really force Vladimir Putin to accept the fact that he has to end his invasion of Ukraine.
00:29And, in fact, now we're hearing that Putin is saying he wants all of Donbass and he'll get it either through military action or some other way, meaning diplomacy.
00:38And that means getting territory that he currently doesn't control.
00:41So Steve Wyckoff needs to bring a little more, a stronger hand to the negotiating table.
00:47Have Europe behind him rather than wondering what he's negotiating.
00:51Have more military support to Ukraine.
00:53Support, for example, the president should support extra sanctions on Russia that have almost 90 senators signing onto them already, waiting for those to be passed.
01:03There's a lot more tools that we're just not using.
01:07And therefore, Wyckoff comes in with a weak hand at the negotiating table.
