00:00Bambi? Bambi?
00:04That was my chump.
00:06You chumped? Did Bambi fly?
00:08Yeah.
00:12Bambi? Yeah?
00:14I know, you've got too many babies.
00:16I want to knock them over.
00:18Why would you want to do that?
00:20No, no, no!
00:23Is everything alright?
00:30Yeah, it's been about four months since Tommy's last fight.
00:42He needs to get out. He needs to be under the lights.
00:45And that's down to my dad to find me the right fight,
00:47and it's just down to me to keep myself in shape,
00:49which is what I'm doing.
00:53I've been going through a bit of a mad state of mind at the minute.
00:57I've been wanting to do all these fitness challenges.
01:00If I'm doing all this training anyway,
01:02I like to do accomplishments.
01:04I'm doing the Great North Run in a few weeks,
01:06but before that, I've got to do a 100-kilometre triathlon.
01:12A 2-kilometre swim, an 80-kilometre bike ride,
01:15and an 18k run.
01:18To be a top-level boxer,
01:19you have to have that winning mentality.
01:21These challenges for Tommy
01:23helps him keep that side of his mind active
01:25when he's not fighting.
01:27It's going out and pushing myself
01:29and see the rest of the world
01:30and get a medal for it and create memories.
01:32I've not got a lot of time to prepare,
01:34but let's see how we go.
01:39Who made the pasta, Tom, in there?
01:41Molly made it.
01:42Yeah, I'll have some of that.
01:43Do you want all of it?
01:44Just give me a plateful.
01:45What are you doing for the rest of the day?
01:46I've got to jump in this lake for two hours.
01:48I can see why it's ending badly.
01:50Well, you need a couple of months between fights.
01:53You've got to let your body recover.
01:55Now he's coming up with all this triathlon thing.
01:58You know, that's hardly recovery.
02:01Ocean's running 40-mile,
02:03peddling a bike 50-mile.
02:05Because you know what?
02:06It's either that or the pub, isn't it?
02:08Well, I don't even know what you're doing it all for.
02:11I used to train 12 weeks for a fight.
02:14I'd then go off the rails completely.
02:16I used to eat, like, 10,000 calories every day.
02:18Whereas now, I don't do that.
02:19I'm always training.
02:20You know, it's addictive.
02:22And I do like it.
02:24And if you like something, especially fitness,
02:26why stop?
02:28What about your boxing, though?
02:30Yeah?
02:31I don't want you to jeopardise your job, do I?
02:33No.
02:34Don't get showing off.
02:35I don't think I can do that.
02:37And I said,
02:38I'll be back and I'm fucked.
02:40What are you going to do then?
02:41You want to...
02:43If you injure yourself doing this, we're finished.
02:48When would a boxer do a 50-mile bike ride?
02:50When would a boxer swim three miles at once?
02:52You've heard the saying,
02:53flog a dead horse, haven't you?
02:54I do not want to be flogging dead horses
02:56when I've told them to rest.
02:58Friendship means to me everything.
03:11You know, I haven't got many friends,
03:13but one thing's for sure,
03:14the friends that are around me,
03:15you could trust them in your life.
03:17Chris, Trigger, they are my best friends.
03:20We met in school and we know exactly who each other are.
03:23They're there when you need them,
03:24you can always rely on them,
03:25and they're good fun.
03:31They all work completely normal jobs,
03:33drive completely normal cars
03:35and do completely normal things.
03:37Like, they knew me before I had anything.
03:39And that goes a long way with me,
03:41and that's why they're still here to this day.
03:43I don't know how,
03:44but I managed to get my mother to come filming.
03:47Joking.
03:48I picked her up and she had a full face of make-up on,
03:50dressed to the nines,
03:52and I said it,
03:53I was like,
03:54you shouldn't do this more often.
03:55I only remember that time where,
03:57I think it was after a rugby game,
03:59she took us home,
04:00she fed us,
04:01and then an hour later she fed us again,
04:03and fed us again.
04:04Never went home with an empty stomach,
04:06that's for sure.
04:07That's why we're all over 100 kilos.
04:09Yeah.
04:11In my tough times,
04:13they was all there for me.
04:14So as far as I'm concerned,
04:15nothing comes before that.
04:16It's very important for me to share success with them.
04:19I mean,
04:20at the end of the day,
04:21like, it's not all about materialistic stuff,
04:23but it's experiences.
04:25The premiere of my documentary is tomorrow.
04:28We're in a cinema in Manchester,
04:29and I want all my friends to be there.
04:32I remember going there to that specific cinema with the kid,
04:35and then the next time I'm going to that cinema,
04:37I'm watching my own documentary.
04:39It is mad when you think about it like that.
04:41I'm worried,
04:42because I don't think my shoot's going to fit me.
04:43I'll be honest,
04:44not worried for a long time.
04:45The only opinions that matter,
04:48you know,
04:49in this documentary is my friends,
04:51family,
04:52you know your family's always going to tell you straight.
04:54I think I'm just looking forward to all my nearest and nearers,
04:56obviously,
04:57you guys and I being together,
04:59watching it,
05:00and then, like,
05:01just celebrating the whole thing.
05:02Is the food on?
05:03Is the food on?
05:04What's this food on, Chris?
05:06Good morning.
05:07Good morning.
05:20Today's going to be an endless day of press, media, radio interviews,
05:24and it's all to push and promote my documentary.
05:27You're going from one station to the next, to the next, to the next,
05:30answering all the same questions.
05:32So, it is very full on.
05:33You need a lot of coffee to get through that morning.
05:35I think you'll need some scissors.
05:37He's had his label still in his top.
05:38Honestly, only you.
05:41Not far from where you grew up, is it?
05:42Around the corner.
05:43When I first was in Love Island, I come out and I said,
05:47I'd love to get an apartment here.
05:49That's all for keys.
05:50That was my plan.
05:51And every time I come back here,
05:53I do still want that apartment.
05:56I'm excited and I've got that nervous energy
05:59because I've been very real in front of the cameras.
06:02I've let a lot of things out
06:04and the whole world's going to see that now.
06:14It's not the alcohol.
06:15It was me.
06:16I've tried my very best to get everything back in order.
06:20I'll show you a quick one.
06:21I'm on BBC Breakfast Live,
06:23if you want to stick that on.
06:25Do you know so the baby can just watch it?
06:27Thanks, babe.
06:28Appreciate it.
06:31Don't tell me, Dad.
06:34Nice to meet you.
06:35Good morning to you guys.
06:37Hi.
06:38People who have all this stuff
06:39can still go through a really hard time mentally as well.
06:41Amazing.
06:42You always speak amazing.
06:47And we have got a special guest in the studio.
06:50The only way I could get that high
06:52that I used to get when I fight
06:53was to have a drink
06:54and then you've got a problem.
06:55Oh, good. Thank you.
07:00Cheers, mate.
07:02You're so tall.
07:04Thanks a lot. Cheers.
07:05Thank you so much.
07:07I've been talking about myself
07:09and my problems for a long time now in front of a camera.
07:12But I just felt, you know,
07:14coming out with everything,
07:15maybe it can help some people.
07:16If it does, great.
07:17If it doesn't,
07:18I've been honest.
07:19I've put my story out there.
07:21Get out of here.
07:28Oh, wait.
07:29Can you see it?
07:30Can you see it?
07:31Can you see it?
07:32Can you see it?
07:33Big nose feels on a big,
07:34on a big billboard.
07:37Wow.
07:38He's actually mad, you know.
07:40Hi.
07:41How are you?
07:42Look at it.
07:43Well, well, well.
07:46If there was any time to do a documentary,
07:48it was then.
07:49That's a good one.
07:50My Instagram show's a perfect life,
07:52and it's not perfect.
07:53My life is far from perfect,
07:55but that was the reasoning for making this show.
07:57I wanted to show that,
07:59yeah, online it can look perfect,
08:01but the actual fact of the matter is,
08:03my life was in tatters.
08:07It's mad.
08:09I've grown up around this area,
08:10like, I've gone jogging here
08:11when I was, like, 12.
08:12I used to look at all the billboards on there,
08:14and it always used to be everybody else,
08:16and now it's me.
08:21That's good, doesn't it?
08:23Yeah, it's so good.
08:25The nose looks extra enlarged on there.
08:28Let's not talk about me and my nose, shall we?
08:32Well, I'm proud of you,
08:33and it looks amazing.
08:34I appreciate it.
08:35I'm just doing these photos now, basically,
08:36so I'll give you a call back in a bit, yeah?
08:38All right.
08:39Love you, bye-bye.
08:54Where is Roman?
08:55Is he getting ready?
08:57I think he's in the shower, yeah.
08:58How do you guys feel about being on screen?
09:01Not sure.
09:02I've always been private.
09:04You're exposing me.
09:05I don't know if I'll watch it, to be honest with you.
09:06Yeah.
09:07You didn't even want to be on it, really, did you?
09:08No.
09:09No.
09:10No, I didn't.
09:11Still don't.
09:12Is your mum coming, or your dad?
09:13She is, yeah.
09:14Yeah?
09:15I did hear about it,
09:16but I never believed that it should be coming, but...
09:17Is she emotional?
09:18Yeah.
09:19Especially when it comes to us two.
09:20She's very emotional.
09:22Does she have a favourite?
09:23Nah.
09:25Bet she does.
09:26Nah.
09:27I don't think so.
09:28She loves us both equally.
09:30Don't talk wrong.
09:32Nah, I'm joking.
09:33I'm joking.
09:36Ready or not, here I come.
09:39You can't hide.
09:42He is literally due here any second.
09:45He called me maybe about 20 minutes before we're meant to be here.
09:49I need new shoes.
09:51So he's literally just finished up in Hugo Boss,
09:53buying new shoes.
09:54CHEERING
09:55Here he is, ladies and gentlemen.
09:56CHEERING
10:02OK.
10:03OK.
10:04Yes.
10:05All good, mate.
10:06All good.
10:07Yes.
10:10I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for me mum and dad.
10:13So I owe them absolutely everything.
10:16And I'm just glad that I could share that moment with them.
10:20I'm overjoyed, overwhelmed, full of emotion still.
10:24I'm just so proud.
10:27When I just saw him before, I just thought,
10:30where's that little boy you used to take to school?
10:34I don't know who he is.
10:36My mother's never walked down a red carpet before.
10:39Especially at our own son's premiere.
10:40Like, she's been there at all the important checkpoints in my life so far.
10:44So I thank her for that.
10:46CHEERING
10:47Nuts.
10:49Absolutely nuts.
10:50I mean, we knew he'd been, but this is incredible.
10:54I think it's the proudest I've seen him.
10:56Even though, like, the big fights that he's had
10:58and everyone betting against him and coming out on top still,
11:01I feel like today I just saw a different proud in him,
11:03that he pulled himself out from where he was.
11:05He should be proud, you know? It's amazing what he's done.
11:09I just want to say a massive thank you to everybody sat here right now.
11:12It means the world to me for everybody turning out.
11:15Thank you, God bless, and enjoy the show.
11:17CHEERING AND APPLAUSE
11:18CHEERING AND APPLAUSE
11:32Jake.
11:33Good afternoon.
11:34Good afternoon.
11:35Is this ours?
11:36Yeah.
11:37Do you want to drive in?
11:38Oh, fuck it.
11:39Jesus.
11:40Right.
11:41Calm down.
11:42Today we just thought we'd debrief, come out in the fresh air
11:44and get out on the golf course.
11:45I'm down fast, girls.
11:47It goes pretty fast for an electric little thing.
11:49You know where you're going, right?
11:50I've never stepped on a golf course in my life.
11:52Hold up.
11:56That's what they call rough.
11:58You've got to slow it down, though. You're too aggressive.
12:01You can't go on the green.
12:02You can't go on the green.
12:03You can't go on the green.
12:04No, you can't do that.
12:05No, no, what are you doing?
12:06That's the green.
12:07No, no, no, that's the green there that I'm on.
12:08Yeah, but you can't do it.
12:10And slow down. You haven't got a rush. Just slow down.
12:14Ow!
12:15Oh, God.
12:16They're twisting my groin out there.
12:17So, after the show went out, so many people that messaged me,
12:20saying, thank you for being so open, you've really helped me with this,
12:23you've really helped me for that.
12:24And it's quite tough when you're doing it and you're talking about those hard times,
12:27but, you know, those messages make it all the worthwhile.
12:30It's all about challenges for me, you know,
12:32overcoming things and ticking things off the box,
12:33and that's why I'm going to, you know, embark on this next challenge,
12:37a triathlon.
12:38It's a monster of a challenge, that.
12:40I don't know what rest is.
12:41Boxers are meant to rest in between fights called holiday,
12:44but me, I've never done that.
12:46I'm an athlete at heart.
12:48You're going into this thinking, like, I don't know if I can do this.
12:50Yeah.
12:51But that's the only reason why I'm doing it.
12:52Yeah.
12:53Do you know what it is, though? It's all mental.
12:54Of course it is.
12:55It's all mental.
12:56And if you don't believe in yourself, you'll never do it.
12:58It's going to be good to watch it.
12:59I'm looking forward to it.
13:00Well, I can assure you I will be sprinting down that finish line.
13:05Do you want to just leave your ball there or should we...?
13:07I don't want to see the ball ever again, Jake.
13:09OK.
13:10Enough gold for today?
13:11Ha! Enough gold for a fucking lifetime.
13:13All right, come on then, let's get back.
13:18This is a bunny.
13:20I know that's a bunny.
13:21I know that's a bunny.
13:22Has she got a name?
13:23No.
13:24Oh.
13:25Goodbye.
13:30I think one of the reasons I'm doing the triathlon is because of Bambi.
13:33Let me tell you what her called.
13:36What her called?
13:37It's a weird thing as a parent.
13:38Like, you always want to show your kid that you're kind of invincible.
13:41Like a superhero.
13:46Growing up, my dad, you know, he was the big protector
13:48and when he was around, everything was safe, everything was sound.
13:51Bambi hide.
13:52So, yeah, that's what I would like Bambi to think of me.
13:56Ready or not, here I come.
13:58I would love it if Molly and Bambi were there,
14:00but with work on her side, I just don't think it's going to be feasible.
14:04It's only a short trip, but two days matters for, like, two years.
14:08Can I just say one thing?
14:09We've been here for all the whole of three minutes and look what's happened.
14:18I've got some, I don't know what you call it,
14:20but it's got the tight things inside the shorts.
14:23It stops the chafing.
14:24So when you're a bit of a heavier guy,
14:25your thighs tend to rub together and that's not comfortable.
14:28So that's why I packed them.
14:30You know, I just don't want to do things I'm good at.
14:32Like, let's do something that I'm not so good at
14:34because I'm not a triathlist, whatever you call it.
14:37I'm not very good at biking.
14:38I'm not a very strong or experienced swimmer.
14:41Like, I get a kick and I thrive on a challenge.
14:44My dad's not that on board with the triathlon
14:46because he thinks I'm going to wear myself out
14:48and I'm going to be fucked for, you know, when I go into camp,
14:51which is probably right.
14:53But the last thing, when I was sat around board
14:55and I didn't have a fight, we all know what happened.
14:58I was drinking all the time because I had nothing else to do.
15:00Now I know because I've been down that road,
15:02this is the better road to go down.
15:05At least when the phone goes and my dad calls me saying
15:07we've got this date, I can say, do you know what?
15:09I'm ready. I'm fit. I'm in shape. Let's do it.
15:11Hello.
15:22I'm actually heading down to the circuit now
15:24where I'm going to be tomorrow morning doing the triathlon.
15:27As the triathlon's getting closer,
15:30the challenge that I've actually set myself is getting very real.
15:33And I'm very nervous about just one part.
15:36The swim.
15:39Swimming in a lake 20 minutes down the road from me is one thing.
15:42Or swimming in a proper ocean is the unknown for me.
15:46You don't think there's any sharks in the water, do you?
15:48No.
15:49Are you sure? I'm sure.
15:50A million percent.
15:51I haven't had a long time to prepare for this.
15:52I've probably trained for about ten days.
15:53But I always keep myself in shape all year round.
15:54I swam the distance in open water before I come here.
16:09Biking's fine, my running's my best point, so it'll be fine.
16:13You'll be sweet then.
16:14I just want to make sure that when I leave here tonight,
16:17I know exactly where I'm going, exactly where I'm coming out of the water.
16:20So this will be the swim start.
16:24It's the start here?
16:25Yeah.
16:26Basically you're going to go out.
16:28You'll swim around the big boys that are out there.
16:30That's two-kilometre swim all up.
16:32Yeah.
16:34I've never swam in competition.
16:36I've never swam in the sea before.
16:39I've never had swimming lessons.
16:42Dear God.
16:43Scary place, isn't it?
16:45Scary place.
16:47Need some wood now.
16:48Knock on my head, we're good.
16:49Hold on.
16:54You'll have to touch it.
16:56I'm not jinxing you.
16:58We're good.
17:07Hey, Pat.
17:08Good morning, sir.
17:09How you doing?
17:10Great to do the job.
17:17Hopefully the swim goes well.
17:19And, yeah, I don't die, basically.
17:22I found out a statistic the other day.
17:25I think there's been 15 deaths in triathlons and 14 of them have been in the sea.
17:31So it's something to consider.
17:33But I think when you fight for a living, one punch could land wrong.
17:37Well, that could kill you.
17:38You just take a risk, don't you?
17:39It's like anything, you've got to take that risk.
17:41Come on, Mr. Jake.
17:42One last phone call.
17:43You might never hear from me again.
17:45One of words of encouragement.
17:47Where's that baby?
17:49I love you, my girl.
17:50This is all for you, my baby.
17:52I will speak to you when it's all over then.
17:54Bye-bye.
17:56Game on now.
17:58Game before time.
17:59Ready?
18:05Athletes, we are about there.
18:06You can just start it down here for your 100-day swim.
18:15And they are on to the way.
18:18Every week, every week at the T100 in the French Riviera.
18:23Ready, ready, try.
18:24Let's go!
18:25Let's go, Toby!
18:26Let's go, Toby!
18:27Let's go, Toby!
18:28Let's go, Toby!
18:29Let's go, Toby!
18:30Let's go, Toby!
18:31Let's go, Toby!
18:32Let's go, Toby!
18:33Let's go, Toby!
18:42Once I got in the ocean, I realised I made a big mistake.
18:46I didn't have any idea how strong the current would be.
18:50I went halfway in, like, 20-something minutes.
18:52But then, as I got to the halfway point, the tide just shifted.
18:56It was like swimming against a jet.
18:58The current was that strong and it was that choppy.
19:00It was just driving me back so much.
19:03It was live or die in that sea for me.
19:05And there was times where I thought, I am going to die in this sea.
19:09I was on course to do it all in about 50 minutes,
19:11but I ended up being in the water for an hour and 20 minutes.
19:15Go, Toby!
19:16Go, Toby!
19:17Go, Toby!
19:18Go, Toby!
19:19Go, Toby!
19:20Go, Toby!
19:23That's so fucking hard.
19:25I can't feel my legs.
19:27My legs went, like, jelly.
19:28I thought I was going to pass out when I came out of the water.
19:30Like, my head was, like, kind of all over the place.
19:32But I was actually telling myself in my head, like,
19:34just keep it together.
19:35You can come back round on the bike.
19:40I've never been on a proper bike ride before.
19:42I'm used to riding a BMX to the parking back.
19:45Top's fucking ripped up my arm, ain't it?
19:47Yeah, I fucking had that, man.
19:49My arms were killing me,
19:50because the tri-seat was rubbing all the time
19:52when my arms were in.
19:53So I pretty much cycled a lot like that.
19:55So I was in dire pain there.
20:00Slightly concerned that he might not get to finish
20:02the full bike race.
20:04We've been told, like, for security reasons,
20:05you can't be out here riding if the roads are open
20:08and they obviously have to open them at a certain time.
20:11We were informed that the people that were still on the bike course,
20:14which was quite a few, including Tommy, unfortunately,
20:17would have to be diverted.
20:25And he had to have his bike cut short,
20:27not through fault of his own.
20:30Can you see him?
20:31Where?
20:33Come on, Tommy!
20:34Come on, mate, let's go.
20:35Keep going.
20:36Keep going, come on.
20:39So, listen, he'll still get to do the run,
20:40he'll still get to cross the finish line,
20:42but he'll pick himself up and go.
20:45He didn't know this at the time, obviously,
20:47but incredibly frustrating to hear.
20:50Your bike course?
20:51Yeah.
20:52Was deviated.
20:53Why?
20:54The roads were reopening, so security-wise,
20:57we had to get people to deviate.
20:59Right.
21:00Well, I still get to complete it, don't I?
21:01Yeah, you still get to complete it.
21:02You sure?
21:03Yes.
21:04So, how many laps around?
21:06If you want to get the hundred,
21:07then there's another lap.
21:08That's another lap.
21:09OK, one more lap and we'll finish line.
21:10Yeah.
21:11OK, I'll see you, Dad.
21:14Come on, Tommy!
21:15Come on, Tommy!
21:16Come on, Tommy!
21:21It was the hardest thing that I've ever done in life.
21:25And I was absolutely spent.
21:28I couldn't really feel my legs underneath me.
21:30I had so many blisters on my feet,
21:32but I knew I had to finish strongly.
21:34Because I was thinking, like,
21:36I'm just going to look at this one day,
21:37I need to finish.
21:38And on the last lap...
21:40I don't believe you.
21:43Come on, Tommy!
21:45Come on, Tommy!
21:46I thought I was major dehydrated,
21:48like seeing things, hallucinating.
21:50I love you!
21:51I love you, baby!
21:53Just to touch him on the way past,
21:55it was, yeah, it was amazing.
21:57Can't believe the baby!
21:59Can't believe that!
22:00Definitely gave me that oomph to finish.
22:03100%.
22:08Oh!
22:09Oh!
22:10Oh!
22:11Oh, Tim!
22:12Oh, yes!
22:13Well done, Tommy,
22:17Tommy Fury went to see the finish line!
22:22That was the first time in five and a half hours
22:24that my legs had stopped.
22:26Kind of got a bit emotional.
22:28You know, because you do miss him
22:29and, like, when you finish a thing like that,
22:30all you want is your family.
22:32I'll tell you what.
22:33I don't want to be in the ring with that guy.
22:35Nope!
22:42I think my favourite moment by far
22:44was seeing my missus and Bambi.
22:46And you look at the stands and they're there.
22:48Just made my day.
22:49That made it so much better.
23:05How you doing?
23:06Champ!
23:07Oh!
23:08I'm absolutely fucked.
23:10Done well, though, didn't you?
23:11I soon got across the line, did I?
23:13Not bad, five and a half hours.
23:14The swim nearly killed me, though.
23:16You were swimming as hard as you could
23:18and every time you'd look up,
23:19you hadn't moved an inch.
23:21Frightening.
23:22Yeah.
23:23I thought at once, I thought,
23:24I cannot get back to this show.
23:25You can go through that, you can go through anything.
23:27Well...
23:28But listen, you've come a long way mentally,
23:30physically.
23:31Yeah.
23:32And this is just the beginning, aren't it?
23:34You've seen that sprint finish video, didn't you?
23:36Let's have another look at it.
23:37Your legs are everywhere.
23:38My right leg was completely numb.
23:39Hard work.
23:40What is most crazy to me is that sprint finish,
23:41got 21 million views.
23:42I guess it's become my thing.
23:43I'll be honest and truthfully,
23:44I didn't think he was going to do it.
23:45It is hard.
23:46I thought he was going to make a fool of yourself,
23:47drown yourself on the swim,
23:48fall off the bike,
23:49cramp up in the run,
23:50a falling edge somewhere.
23:51He just likes to achieve, Tommy.
23:52He's an achiever.
23:53It's sent me blood pressure up a little bit,
23:54but listen.
23:55A tablet for that, isn't it?
23:56It is a beautiful medal.
23:57Take a picture of me wearing it
23:58because that's the closest I'm going to get to it.
23:59So he'll keep up my dad's mum.
24:00I'll keep up my dad's mum.
24:01So I'm not going to lose.
24:02I'm not going to lose.
24:03I guess it's become my thing.
24:04So I guess it's become my thing.
24:05I'll be honest and truthfully,
24:06I didn't think he was going to do it.
24:07It is hard.
24:08I thought he was going to make a fool of yourself,
24:09Drown yourself on the swim,
24:10fall off the bike,
24:11cramp up in the run,
24:12a falling edge somewhere.
24:13beautiful medal. Take a picture of me wearing it because that's the closest I'm going to get to it.
24:18So lucky up my dad's mum.
24:21You'll end up with cabinets full of these sons throughout your life.
24:25I think my dad is proud of every one of his sons. As long as you're a proper fella,
24:30you're a decent fella and you can survive on your own. I think that's what makes my dad proud to be honest.
24:34After being accused of falsely claiming he completed a hundred kilometre triathlon in the
24:44south of France, Tommy Fury is facing a backlash. The boxer had shared posts on his social media about
24:50finishing the race. However, race tracing data seems to show Tommy didn't complete the full course.
24:58It's a big accusation cheating, isn't it? There's cars on the road.
25:04It becomes dangerous then, doesn't it?
25:06I don't really want to talk about that. Do you know the fucking shit? Did he finish it or did he not finish it?
25:10I don't even want to give that energy. It's a good job I'm thick-skinned because I look at that and I laugh
25:15because I understand what they're trying to do but it's all bullshit. It really is.
25:22You'll have three people out of ten of the door, the rest hate you. And hate and jealousy is hand in hand, isn't it?
25:28It's just a lot on the mind. You don't mentally
25:30drained as much as I am physically. So, it's definitely been a tough month.
25:38People can hate on me as much as they want, say whatever they want, but that'll never stop me from
25:42achieving my goals. So, I'm still doing the Great North Run this weekend.
25:47You ready, mate?
25:48Party people in the place to be. It's about that time for us to be.
25:55Yeah.
25:56We are in Newcastle for the Great North Run. Half marathon. Music's going. Vibes are amazing.
26:05I'm going for an hour 40 or below. That is what I'll be happy with.
26:08I'm doing it with Roman. Me and Roman are pretty much running partners.
26:13Bad, bad, bad, bad boy. You make me feel so good.
26:19I am bang up for this. I'm bang up for it.
26:26The start line was probably the most nerve-wracking bit. This guy comes out. He's blown his gun.
26:39Obviously, I'm not ready to start at all. I've nearly had a heart attack before I've even started running.
26:45The people were chanting my names, asking for a high five. As I was running, they were like,
26:52come on, Tommy, da, da, da. I felt obliged to put my foot down. I was like,
27:00fucking all right. Come on, let's kick it up a little bit more. Let's try and have a heart attack
27:03and let's see how it goes. Roman looks like he's making the turn now for the home straight.
27:10Tommy's just behind him.
27:15So, the sprint finish is a weird one because the last mile was basically straight.
27:19It looked like the finish, but when you got to the finish, it was turn right immediately
27:23and there'd be a hundred metres left to run. So, I couldn't really do a sprint finish.
27:27I did a sort of one, but it wasn't my problem.
27:35It was my first time doing a half marathon, but I managed to get a really good time for the size of me.
27:39I got an hour and 34 minutes, which is, I've been told, is really good.
27:44That was probably the best run I've ever done. Even when I'm in the ring, I never felt support like that.
27:48That was incredible. It was unbelievable.
27:50It couldn't have gone any better, really. I enjoyed the race, come out, no injuries, and, yeah, everything was great.
27:59I just can't catch a break at the minute.
28:00Out of 60,000 runners that did it, the only thing they can pick up is Tommy Fury, elbow somebody out the way.
28:06It's been cancelled by the running community.
28:08I'm about to take on the biggest physical and mental challenge today.
28:12Down with Vada, I'm feeling soft.
28:15I'm feeling fucked.
