Eddie Redmayne on Returning to TIFF with Felicity Jones for 'The Aeronauts': "It's Phenomenal"

00:00Hey, Redmayne. The last time I saw you in Toronto was with a little movie called

00:10The Danish Girl, I believe, a couple of years ago. And before that, The Theory of Everything

00:15had its world premiere here. This place has been good to you. Tell us about that and The

00:20Aeronauts. I love that you bring up those films. There have also been some horrendous

00:24successful films here that I've done. So I have a lovely, it brings a warm feeling for

00:32me to Toronto because it's been all sorts of experiences. But it's phenomenal for me to

00:37be back here with Felicity doing this film. It's called The Aeronauts. It's about two

00:43people who go up in an air balloon. It's kind of an old school adventure movie, but it really

00:48feels quite fresh. It felt to me when I read it unlike anything I've read.

00:51So I know they keep you very busy when you're in town, but if you were to, if we could carve

00:55out two and a half hours for you to go see somebody else's movie, based on what you've

01:00heard, whose movie would that be?

01:02You know, I was lucky enough to be in Telluride when you were, and I saw Marriage Story, which

01:07blew my mind. The Two Popes. I saw it. It was sensational. I've heard a lot about Waves.

01:15And I've heard it's phenomenal. So I think that would probably be the one that I would

01:21want to go and see.
