00:18Quentin Tarantino-directed Best Picture nominee. Pitt beat out fellow nominees
00:22including Al Pacino for The Irishman, Joe Pesci for The Irishman, Tom Hanks for
00:27A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood and Anthony Hopkins for The Two Popes. Pitt
00:32thanked Tarantino for being original and one-of-a-kind, adding the film industry would
00:36be a much drier place without him, and had nothing but praise for his Once Upon a
00:40Time in Hollywood co-star Leonardo DiCaprio, saying he'd ride on his coattails any day.
00:44But before expressing his thank yous, Pitt couldn't help but take a moment out of his
00:48speech to take a jab at the Senate.
