Disney is pushing the release of Marvel stand-alone Black Widow amid growing concerns around the coronavirus.

00:10It's official, Black Widow just became the latest tentpole film to be pushed back amid
00:14the coronavirus pandemic. The Disney and Marvel movie, which was set to hit theaters in North
00:18America on May 1st, has been pushed to an undetermined future date. The final trailer
00:23for the long-awaited standalone starring Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff,
00:26aka Black Widow, dropped just over a week ago.

00:34Disney has also pushed back the releases of Searchlight Pictures, The Personal History of
00:38David Copperfield starring Dev Patel, and 20th Century's Woman in the Window starring Amy
00:43Adams to future dates to be determined.

00:53This news comes as AMC Theatres, the largest movie theater chain in the country, is closing
00:57all of its U.S. locations for at least six to 12 weeks, as cinemas across the country go dark
01:03due to the COVID-19 pandemic. AMC made its announcement Monday night after several other
01:08circuits announced closures throughout the day, beginning with Regal Cinemas.
01:11As of now, Disney still has Artemis Fowl scheduled for May 29th and Pixar's Soul for June 19th.
