00:09Visitors can invest in a batteria or a traditional set of balsamic vinegar barrels,

00:16There are a few places you can do this.
00:18At Acciataya Villa San Danino, you can pay an annual fee for a five-barrel set.
00:23For non-PDO-certified balsamic vinegar, you'll have to age your vinegar for about six years.
00:28But if you want your balsamic vinegar to meet PDO standards,
00:32you'll need to be patient and age your vinegar for a minimum of 12 years.
