Die NEX Playground ist ein kleiner unauffälliger Würfel, der das Steuerungskonzept von Microsoft Kinect weiterführt. In der Konsole steckt eine Kamera, die euren Körper als Controller erkennt. Dank KI-Algorithmen soll das sogar deutlich besser funktionieren als noch in der Vergangenheit.      Fünf Spiele sind vorinstalliert, weitere gibt es im Abo für 89 Dollar (1 Jahr) beziehungsweise 49 Dollar (3 Monate). Das Gerät selbst kostet 250 Dollar, ist also vergleichsweise günstig und setzt abseits eines Fernsehers keine weitere Hardware oraus.
