00:06Ellen DeGeneres and her wife, Portia de Rossi, are reportedly planning to head back home to the United States
00:12after living in the English countryside for the last year.
00:16The pair settled in the Cotswolds following Donald Trump's 2024 election win.
00:21DeGeneres, 67, and de Rossi, 52, want to move back due to the frigid cold British winters
00:28and because the couple missed their friends in California, according to the Daily Mail.
00:33Ellen was adamant that she and Portia were going to stay in the U.K. while Trump was in the White House.
00:38But evidently, she's changed her mind somewhat.
00:41An insider told the publication,
00:43She's been telling friends they are coming home soon because they miss them and can't take the winters over there.
00:47And Portia wants to act again.
00:49They will be here for the holidays and longer by the sound of it, they continued.
00:54Ellen was very clear that they're coming back to California sooner rather than later.
00:57They miss the warm weather and their friends.
01:00Before settling down in the Cotswolds, the duo moved into a hilltop mansion in Oxfordshire that had 43 acres of land.

01:42She praised their absolutely beautiful English home.
01:47Earlier this year, the couple listed their Montecito estate for $29.9 million
01:51and in March put another property on the market for $5 million,
01:56four years after buying it for $2.9 million.
