00:05Prince Harry released an essay ahead of Remembrance Day,
00:09reflecting on war, its impact, and his love for his homeland.
00:13Royal experts say that, if you read between the lines,
00:16it suggests he regrets leaving the royal family for life in California.
00:21Prince Harry served in the British Army from 2005 to 2015
00:25and was deployed to Afghanistan twice,
00:28first from 2007 to 2008 and again from 2012 to 2013.
00:35After his service, he founded the Invictus Games
00:38for wounded, injured, and sick service members and veterans.
00:43Remembrance Day is clearly significant to Harry
00:46and the letter shows he was emotional while writing it.
00:50His essay, titled The Bond, the Banter, the Bravery,
00:54What it Means to be British, by Prince Harry,
00:56reflects on his military service, and shows he hasn't forgotten his roots.
01:01Though currently, I may live in the United States,
01:04Britain is, and always will be,
01:06the country I proudly served and fought for, he wrote.
01:10The banter of the mess, the clubhouse, the pub,
01:13the stands ridiculous as it sounds,
01:15these are the things that make us British.
01:17Royal experts, Richard Fitzwilliams and Helena Chard weighed in on the essay,
01:26pointing at the undertone of regret.
01:28Harry's essay on Remembrance Day showed him at his best
01:32and also highlighted his status as an exile.
01:36Fitzwilliams pointed out,
01:37Harry is bound to have very deep regrets.
01:44Chard agreed, noting that despite attending a lot of high-profile events in the United States,
01:50Harry likely misses his life in the UK.
01:53I'm sure he misses parts of his previous life in the UK, she said.
01:58I don't believe the celebrity world floats Prince Harry's boat.
