At the 'Peacemaker' season two premiere, Danielle Brooks tells THR how season two will top season one. Plus, she reveals she'd love to see a Peacemaker and Wonder Woman crossover.
00:01Congratulations on season two. Tell me how this is going to top season one. What are we bringing to the table?
00:05So much more. More, more, more. I think that's really it. I mean, James Gunn doesn't miss.
00:12I really feel like he's a goat when it comes to writing and he just gets this world so well.
00:18I mean, you're going to see double, you know what I mean? So that's going to be a lot of fun.
00:25It's going to be great. You don't want to miss it.
00:27And what are those conversations like with James? How much intel does he give you on where your character arc is headed beyond this season and maybe even fitting into the overall DCU?
00:37That we do not know. That is like hidden in some cave or some lockbox somewhere. We don't have that knowledge.
00:46But he does give us the scripts pretty far in advance, which is kind of uncommon. So that's really nice.
00:53Did you know about Peacemaker's cameo in Superman beforehand?
00:56No. I watched it. I was so excited. Him talking mess. I was like, oh, that's cute.
01:03Well, I know that John said that he wants to see a Peacemaker Batman crossover. What crossover would you like to see?
01:10Can we see? Hmm. I think Wonder Woman.
01:17Yeah, I need a lady in there. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
01:22Also, finally, I know everyone's obsessed with the dance sequence in this.

01:29Who's the best dancer in the cast?
01:31Jen Holland. Jen Holland. But I give her a run for her money, though.
01:35Yeah, I was going to say, I was like, where do you rank in this?
01:37Yeah, I am definitely number two in this cast, which is not saying a lot at all.
01:44Not a hard competition?
01:45No. It's pretty bad.
01:49I love that. We got to see the outtakes of dance rehearsals.
