England captain Ben Stokes admitted the death of Robin Smith “hits harder” after the former batter connected with the tourists in Perth just a matter of days ago.Smith, who played 62 Tests and 71 ODIs for England, died this week at the age of 62.The powerful right-hander, renowned as an outstanding player of fast bowling, had been a guest at the first Ashes Test and also met members of the England Lions at the invitation of their coach, Andrew Flintoff.

00:06Yes, a very sad day. I didn't know him overly well but I knew quite a lot of people who did know him very well.
00:14I played a lot of cricket with him and the same thing kept on coming up pretty much.
00:22He was an absolute belt of a bloat. Just last week he was there chatting with the Lions who were out here.
00:28He was at the game last week and talking to people and going into quite a lot of detail about his life and opening up quite a lot.
00:40It hits you a bit harder when you realise that it was only a week ago where he was doing those kind of things.
