00:00We're from Ink Master and we're going to be talking about some celebrity tats.
00:09Just judging by a lot of the tattoos that Lil Wayne has, he got a lot of them when he
00:13was really young and he just started getting, you know, the term is getting blasted.
00:18Getting as many tattoos as you can.
00:20A lot of his tattoos are not about having quality tattoos, it's more about having a
00:24lot of tattoos.
00:25I myself have a lot of tattoos that I really cherish that aren't great works of art, they're
00:30more tattoos that I got from friends of mine.
00:34The one thing we know about Justin Bieber is that in all senses he has the worst taste imaginable,
00:39so it does not surprise me at all that every tattoo he has is completely terrible.
00:45He's known for paying tattooers to come to his house and tattoo him so he can sit around
00:49in his underwear and not have to go to a tattoo shop.
00:52We call this littered with garbage.
00:55I did not know that Rihanna had a big crazy hand tat.
00:59I think it's better when it's done in henna because then it goes away.
01:04I love mom tattoos, I have one.
01:06If it wasn't for mama, we wouldn't be here, so give thanks to that.
01:10If his arm is down and this tattoo is right side up, this is actually a wow tattoo.
01:14If you want your tattoo to say mom, you got to get it facing the right direction.
01:19This is a tattoo done the traditional way, it's very cool to get this tattoo done like this.
01:23When I was in Thailand, we went and we found the monks.
01:25It's a large risk because the majority of the monks, the way they tattoo is everybody
01:30gets the same tools.
01:31So there's a big kind of trust in the health department over there.
01:36And the way that they do it is very meticulous.
01:39It's really a very hard thing to learn and not just anybody can pick up and do this.
01:44And to be able to do these intricate patterns with one needle takes a really long amount
01:49of time and a heavy amount of enduring pain.
01:52So she suffered for this.
01:53I think this is a crazy one.
01:56Barring the fact that the guy got a portrait of himself on his back, it's very Steve-O-esque,
02:02but the actual work itself, the portrait that Jack did is great.
02:05To get a portrait by Jack Rudy is a very coveted thing.
02:09Steve-O kind of making a mockery of it here, getting his own stupid face on there.
02:15This lion is a mess.
02:19Getting a little lion portrait on your finger is a bad idea.
02:23And for 25 years, real tattooers have been warning people against stuff like this because
02:28it does not last or age.
02:30And if you look at this photo, you can tell you end up with this little turd smear on your
02:35finger.
02:38I mean, this lion looks like a lion.
02:40You know, there's only so much that is capable in the healing process in the skin.
02:45This lion looks like what it's supposed to.
02:49It healed.
02:49It's a nice tattoo.
02:52You shrink it down to one eighth of that size and put it on the finger, it just doesn't work.
02:58This is the purest example of you just don't care anymore.
03:06I think face tattoos for people that are not fully covered, no matter how permitting the
03:12world seems to feel, there are other cultures, other places where you're going to travel and
03:16at points, these things could be a hindrance or it could be a problem.
03:20And I understand self-expression.
03:21I got tattooed because at the time I wanted to be rebellious or I wanted to feel a certain
03:25way.
03:28But getting your face tattooed without a full body suit is a bit much.
03:33It's one of Nunez's favorite tattoo motifs, skin rips with mechanical parts.
03:40I like any kind of skin rip, I'm in.
03:42I think they're great.
03:44This is clean.
03:45You know, it has legible shading to it, it keeps it open and can breathe and it fits his
03:51forearm well.
03:52I was shocked to see Jamie Foxx get this tattoo.
03:56I didn't think it was real at first.
03:57The thing about this kind of tattoo is that, you know, you're a couple weeks from it not
04:02being invisible.
04:03Just let your hair grow out and it goes away.
04:05I will say this.
04:07I'm almost 100% certain that Chris Brown can afford a better tattoo than this.
04:16Oof.
04:17I mean, if you paid as much of your tattoos as you paid for that watch, he'd have some
04:22nice tattoos.
04:23I like that one.
04:24That's funny.
04:25I got shit like that.
04:26This is the perfect example of a party tat.
04:38Yeah.
04:39I have many.
04:40This is not a quality tattoo.
04:42This is not something that, you know, I would recommend.
04:45Oh, I recommend it.
04:48There is a big thing about getting Japanese or Korean or Chinese or any kind of kanji written
04:55on you that it's a great thing to get if you want to keep your tattoo personal to you because
05:01it can be artistic, it can be beautiful, it can fit the body, and it can mean whatever
05:06it means to you.
05:07And you can choose whether you share with whoever else what this tattoo means.
05:13A lot of people over the last couple decades have gotten tattoos that they thought said
05:18something and actually said something else.
05:20Any time that an American-born person has their name tattooed on them in any form of kanji,
05:26It's wrong.
05:27It does not say their name.
05:30I think this kind of tattoo is very reminiscent of when people bring in Crayola drawings of their
05:36young children and be like, my kid drew this, I want it tattooed.
05:40I'm like, alright.
